Please Misunderstand Me

Just yesterday I posted the following tweet:

It was just a random thought that came to mind.  It’s been over a year now since I decided to pursue my passions full time and start to live my dreams.  Someone who really inspires me but whom I think is often misunderstood is Kanye West.  Some say he’s arrogant, egotistical, etc.  But I just say he’s misunderstood.  He’s living his dreams and he’s not afraid to be himself regardless of what people think.

There’s nothing wrong with thinking that you’re great.  If you don’t believe in yourself, who else will?!

Just today he posted the following statement on his blog in his typical all caps typing.  You may not agree, you may not understand… but I do.  Again I say… I’d rather be misunderstood than easily figured out and categorized.
