How Necole Bitchie Helped Me Get A MacBook Pro

About a month ago one of my mentors (though she doesn’t know it, haha), Necole Bitchie, tweeted a link to a story she wrote about the ‘law of attraction’ and how it changed her life. I had already heard of ‘the secret’ years ago from one of my previous business mentors and was already familiar with the process of visualizing and the power that thoughts have on framing our lives. I already knew about making vision boards and writing down goals and things like that, but I never did anything to put it into action myself because I thought I already had enough faith. I never did anything to tangibly create a mental reality the way that I did this last time I read Necole’s story. Once I did, I had something I had been desiring and ‘believing for’ for years within a matter of days… my very own MacBook Pro.
One morning while searching through the drawer on my nightstand I came across a couple of Apple stickers; the ones that come in the box when you buy an iPhone. I had just read Necole’s story on the law of attraction and I’d heard similar stories before. But this time something came over me. I immediately knew what I wanted to do with one of the stickers. I quickly rushed into the room where my PC laptop was and I stuck the Apple sticker on it. It may seem insignificant or inconsequential but that single action unleashed the power of the dormant faith that I had within me all along.
Every day while working 12-14 hours designing and coding websites I’d see that Apple logo and it was as if it was being branded onto my mind that I was actually working on the MacBook Pro I desired even though it was still my PC. I even looked forward to working because it was as if each moment I KNEW that I was getting closer. I could feel my vision transforming into reality.
It had probably not even been 10 days since I placed the Apple sticker on my PC until I walked into the Apple store and walked out with my MacBook Pro. I didn’t need to shop around because I already knew it was mine. I simply walked up to the Apple ‘genius’, told him exactly what I wanted, he brought it to me, I paid for it in cash, and walked out.
I know that you may be skeptical of the story or think that it was just coincidental but now I know for sure, firsthand, that there is power in creating a tangible way to identify your desires and I’ve now put it into action in many other ways. Thanks Necole!
